Good stream today, unlike yesterday.
robean came by, as did
003atom_ant300, who told me that Biden won. I don't follow politics much, but from what I saw of this I'm definitely Biden > Trump:

Otherwise, for the session today, it was all crafting on my engineer, eventually getting him to level 80 and, after much finangling, got his armor fully upgraded to the "Harrier's" setup:
And tomorrow, I'll probably continue upgrading the rest of his gear.
And this evening's records were:
Jethro Tull - Stand Up
Tom Lehrer - That Was the Year That Was
Butthole Surfers - Independent Worm Saloon
Bad Company - Self-Titled Debut

An okay session today. Like recently, it was mostly crafting with my new engineer, trying to make a max level "Harrier's" (see above) weapon and off-hand, but as these recipes cannot be bought off the trading post and the mats required can only be made once per day (you can buy them off the trading post, but not surprisingly they're super expensive) I had to make sub-par versions of these. The right side jewelry was easy to make, since the only ones I can really use are the low-level ones.
But after I did all this I worked on my open-world dailies. I tried running dungeons/fractals, but nobody else was doing them, except for a few, but they were going for specific achievements. And as I'm still a new player I'd get in the way of these, so I opted out of them.
And here's the vinyl records that I played this evening:
George Gershwin - Rhpasode in Blue/An American in Paris
Funkadelic - One Nation, Under a Groove
Edvard Grieg - Peer Gynt Suite
Bill Cosby - Wonderfulness
Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Self-Titled 2nd Album (Side One)
MondayPlayed some FF XIV this morning, as I had called in from work last night (the usual, fucked up lower back and shoulders. Kept waking up because my arms were tingling and going numb as well. What the hell?!). Did my usual retainer ventures and squadron stuff. I also did the custom deliveries as well (but only the starred ones). After these, I went ahead and ran a couple randoms, but this time I went as my ninja and monk instead, my 2 favorite DPSers.

And like always, these comic strips are chosen completely on a whim, no tie-in with the day's stream session. If it looks good at the time, I throw it in as a header. ;)>Click to showClick to hide
I kinda wish
robean was here for this session. She's a game tester, so she often has to work overtime, especially when a game is approaching its production deadline. Seems like a fast-paced, high-stress job. Been there.
;)>But anyway, for the session it was all engineer again. Did my usual crafting, then I tried doing these quests for the first time, but couldn't make any headway; I kept getting killed, after which I have to start all the way over in that quest. No thanks. I also tried running dungeons, but the ones I was getting I either kept getting lost in, since they were pitch dark and I was getting disoriented. Or I would get killed in a huge insta-kill area, making it impossible for someone to rez me without getting killed thmeselves. You can also respawn, but the group has to be out of combat for that to happen. Few people -
robean being one of them - would've waited up on me, the rest preferring to headlong rush to the final boss. In those situations, I just drop out of the group. Really sucks trying to do this stuff without her help. *sigh*
But after these failures I just did all my dailies, and then I called it good.
And here's the vinyl records that I played this evening:
Pink Floyd - Ummagumma
Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Self-Titled 2nd Album
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Kraftwerk - Ralf & Florian (Side One)
Okey dokey. Time to call it a night
<Take care.> and thanks for tuning in. And have a yourselves a great night/day.
