Initially a good day, just eating grapes, a couple hard-boiled eggs, a banana, and a can of chuck chicken breast overnight, up until later this morning (4:30 am-ish), when Gluttony took me over, and I went out to buy:

So much for my good record. Now I'm back to 153# and 34.75" on the ol' gut. *sigh* And now it's going to balloon up even more, since Gluttony decided it wanted some pizza and donuts tonight, especially since it believes I earned it, after the Holminster Switch run I did (see below).

And I also made this video while doing some web browsing this morning. Definitely struck a chord with me.

Man, Il Meng looks wicked on a cloudy day!

.... and on a foggy morning!

A very eventful Final Fantasy XIV session today. Starting with a newish viewer coming on named BakedLasaugana. And boy can he talk! I'm really having to divide my time between playing and trying to keep up with the flowing lines of chat. Definitely not saying that's a bad thing - It's actually a GOOD thing - just something I'm definitely not used to.

Otherwise, it was mostly white mage again, trying to get him leveled up via the usual hunts and Pixie quests. Roulettes too. And eventually I got level 76!

And for my leveling roulette I got good ol' Holminster Switch again. And this time ALL 3 party members were new to this dungeon and/or their roles, tank pulling big but not using CDs, as well as everyone getting hit by nearly every mechanic, making healing a real workout for me.

I also did a fair amount of FATE running as well. And running FATEs eventually paid off. because:

But I did end up getting pissed off at a tank during one FATE though, as he was grossly undergeared (a level 80 still in Stormblood gear. No reason for that!). Maybe FATEs should have an ilvl requirement as well as a level requirement. -_-

But after all that was over, I decided to start farming Skybuilders' Scrip, trying to get some dragoon blue dye. And I managed to make enough to buy 5 of them, good enough to last me a while, since I'll only be using them once a week at the most. They also sold glamour gear, one of which I ALMOST have an interest in, the tank top one. Too bad there's a bunch of extra shit around the waist. You almost got it right, Squeenix. Almost. -_-

Cool!

And for the records I played today they were:

Stan Getz - With Laurindo Almeida
Rush - Carress of Steel
The Residents - Eskimo
Motorhead - Self-Titled Debut
Stan Freberg - Best Of

All right. Time to call it a night. Thanks for reading/watching, everyone, as well as enduring my rants. And have yourselves a good night/day. ;)>

Joe, I am an veteran EX primal healer. I have seen much much chaos and healed through it with a strong upper lip. But there would have been no WAY I could have healed that dungeon like that without breaking down into a blubbering healing mess! LOL You have my sympathy and admiration. ;-)

Thanks, Anna. :]

Yeah, if you saw my final boss video, you'll hear me say stuff like "I'm gone!", "Okay, I'm leaving!" etc. One would think that once you get assigned the dungeon you'd do the trust version first, especially as a DPS, since you wouldn't want to wait forever in a queue. Apparently not, it seems.

Thanks, Cliff. :]

Yeah, I'm burnt to a crisp on that dungeon. Kept running it as a trust to level the NPCs (stupid as hell actually, what with them being level 80 when you can do a level 80 dungeon and all. :/ ). It was basically bad RNG getting it as a roulette. :[

If someone wants to run fates in bad gear, that's their life and participation they risk. You have no obligation to heal anyone in the open world.

You know, it's funny; I tried running that dungeon as a trust doing healer but gave up. The stupid AI would NOT stack with me during Tesleen so I kept dying to it. And guess what, you die in a trust dungeon, you go ALL the way back to the start of it, even at a boss.

After 2 attempts of it I said "screw this, Trusts are bullshit, I don't need them, I got friends to take me though stuff! " ;p

Joe it doesn't have to be hard to keep the weight off. I know a few months ago you were fasting often. That was a bad start to your weight loss. The best way to keep it off is to eat 5 small meals a day. A balanced diet with exercise daily. Also, it's ok to eat a donut. You gotta reward yourself a couple times a week. It's not ok to binge. Take care of yourself.. you can do it!

What stops me from being a glutton is looking at the calories of the item I am tempted by, that usually shocks me into common sense. ;p

If i am going to put something high in me I make sure everything else I eat that day is low to balance it out, or make sure everything the next day is quite low and exercise to work it off.

So if I eat 3 slices of pizza on 7-11 $4.00 pizza day, I make sure dinner is light to balance out those 1000 pizza calories.
