TuesdayOh, I forgot to mention yesterday: I'm trying to get back into working out again, after not really doing anything in over a month (getting hurt at work too much, a job where I
already do a lot of heavy lifting), if only on a limited basis. I did
chest dips (I slid my kitchen drawers out next to my counter in order to do this),
Standing chest presses, and
incline push-ups, mostly chest exercises (one of the few muscles I don't really use at work).
This morning I decided to do one of my rare Tuesday morning streams, which happened to be
Grim Dawn. I played my new
reaper class (combination of ninja and dark knight) this time, getting about 2/3 of the way in act 1, also doing a bunch of side quests as well.
And this time, instead of vinyl, I decided to go ahead and play some YouTube stuff, such as:
Windows96 - Enchanted Instrumentals and WhispersWardruna - Runaljod - gap var GinnungaSergio Leone - Greatest Western Music of All Time (music aborted part way, as it was sounding very non-western after a while)
Earth - The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's SkullLuxury Elite & Saint Pepsi - Late Night DelightFor the evening stream it was
Grim Dawn as usual. I moved along in the act 2 storyline on my
reaper (basically a mixture of ninja and dark knight) character. Eventually
defeating Darius Cronley to close out the act. I still had to tie up a few loose ends, but after those were taken care of I started up act 3. Onward ho!
And now that I think of it, after playing Torchlight 2 a little bit off-stream I realized another thing about Grim Dawn that I like: No need to
identify items. The game shows you what the items are the moment they are dropped, removing that extra layer of bureaucracy. Nothing like wasting time/money just to
find out what an item is be able to use an item. It's almost
like DLC.
And the records I played this evening were:
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
Butthole Surfers - Independent Worm Saloon
The Residents - The Commercial Album
Grofe - Grand Canyon Suite
Tchaikovsky - Concerto in D, Opus #35
Devo - Oh No! It's Devo!
Rush - 2112
WednesdayPlayed some
Pinball FX3 as well as some
Pinball Arcade this morning. And with the exception of me beating the high score on
Swords of Fury, it was pretty much a blah session, pretty much forgettable.
:|>Worked on my bard for the
FF XIV stream, running hunts and Pixie beast tribe quests, and he reached level 73. I also managed to create all the level 74 gear he needs for the transition. Mucho accomplisho today! And after I was done with that I decided to just switch on over to Grim Dawn.
Aaaaaand for the
Grim Dawn stream, there could've been a lot more people showing up. But instead, few did, since I had all my Twitch information set up for the Grim Dawn stream, but I....
So now, I'm still technically in the FF XIV channel, playing Grim Dawn the whole time, and not in the Grim Dawn room, where I need to be.
(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻Eventually
Keitaro87 came by and let me know about my little gaffe, but it was all too late, as I had to shut down in about 10-15 minutes. I reeeeally wish I could have this one back.
-_-But as far as the session itself I mainly worked on act 3 on my
reaper guy, and I eventually got level 29 I think. Going good so far!
:D>Here's the vinyls I played this evening:
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Heart - Little Queen
The Cure - Disintigration
The Alan Parsons Project - I Robot
Maurice Ravel - Bolero / Rimsky Korsakov - Capriccio Espagnol
Alrighty. Nap time, then I have to get ready for work.
<Take care.> and have yourselves a good day/night.
