Match 6: British Logic II



When the war in Ukraine first broke out, there was a vote in UN to condemn Russia. Many countries voted absentee. The countries who vote yes are mainly US allies, and together they count less than half of the world population.

The political class in UK was furious. They ran around to India, middle east, more or less telling the leaders of those countries, how dare you not fall in line?

How dare them really? Once upon a time, Britain was an imperial power. The Chinese were our factory workers. Indians were our domestic servants. The Africans were the slaves in the farm in our colonies. Our life was, like in Ritz Charlton, we rang our little bell and our servants came out to serve us.

We rang our little bell at the UN, so how dare these people not vote yes as we expected?

As time passes, China is now the second largest country by GDP. India is a powerful state with large pharma industry. Part of Africa has developed very quickly, even there are areas that are still unstable. Maybe none of these countries are as wealthy as those in the west, but none of these people need to kiss our ass. Not anymore. They know we are spinning BS at them. For this time, they choose to walk away.

The British political class is arrogant and callous. You know, the Germen came up with this word, "sub-human". See, the Brits are too classy to use words like this, but we just treat people around the world exactly that.

When you hear what the Brits say about countries like Russia and China, it is always "Russia's behaviour", "China's behaviour". What are these countries to us really? Zoo animals? Your 5-year-old at home? They are nuclear power for god sake. Instead of negotiating a common ground and forester corporation, all we do these days is spreading contempt and mistrust. Our media also help spreading disinformation on those countries to make sure we never think it is our own fault to push the world towards a nuclear war.

Look, if we start a war with a nuclear power, we fully expect the Americans to pick up the tab. This is why we have NATO, so the little guys like us, Poland and Lithuania can be a total jackass and go around causing trouble. If sh#t hits the fence, we just trigger article 5 and get Americans to send the people to fight. You know, we ran out of countries that are dumb enough to be our servants and slaves. The Americans are the only one we left. For whatever you think of them, at least they still come and wipe our ass.

When Covid broke out, the first thing that ran out in US was toilet paper. The Americans definitely know their priorities.
