So, thanks for SE free login campaign, I got to play for a few days. Today is the last day, so I come to say goodbye.
I got to the most updated msq. I really like the recent solo encounter. This one from the msq as well as the starting quest of the 5.x relic. I just wish that they can be accessed like the SSS dummy. So you got to fight a moving dummy.
After reading Annabel's post on the Bozja Southern Front, I wanted to give it a try. I went in, hardly have any clue, but see a small windows that I can register for resistance engagement. When the event is up, then I got teleported into an area where it just look like FATE boss. At first I don't even know I need to be in a group. A lot of aoe flying around and I died a couple times, the boss (?) died. I signed up for another engagement, and learnt to dodge better.
I did the opening quest, couple skirmish and three engagements, then this pops up:
Hmm... You know, the only thing I really remember from Annabel's guide is you won't lose any mettel if you are below rank 5. So what do I have to lose... apart from my life? I had zero clue what will happen, but hit yes anyway.
I got teleported into an area where I was all alone. The first minute before the engagement was very awkward. There were people cheer for me, but I honestly just want to ask for help. Those people asked if I have things like manawall or whatever skill, and of course I haven't got a single lost skill.
The fight was on, I was dodging aoe like a madman. Eventually, I miss a dodge and got hit.
700k HP damage?
And it hit twice?
Really, I only have 77k HP. That aoe was beyond one shot...
Well, it was enjoyable. But it was also bed time. Hopefully this thingy is still here when I resub in 6.0. At the moment I sign up for a free trial account and doing ARR/HW raid, mostly at min ilv. I will have stories to share by the time I re-sub. Currently, they are under the working title "You Must Be In-Sync".
