Event Overview

In recent years, demand from collectors and historians has led to a surge of adventurers seeking tomestones, those mysterious relics of the Allagan Empire made to record and keep its secrets. Some small number of the artifacts, unique for the peculiar sort of knowledge contained within, have piqued the interest of the eccentric─in particular, itinerant moogles, who come bearing rare goods of their own to exchange for these "irregular" tomestones.

How to Participate

1. Consult the Mogpendium! Consult the Mogpendium!

   

   During the event, you can check the Mogpendium for important details about associated objectives.
   * Speak to an itinerant moogle to obtain the Mogpendium.

2. With four different ways to acquire irregular tomestones, you can choose objectives that suit your adventuring style! With four different ways to acquire irregular tomestones, you can choose objectives that suit your adventuring style!

   

   • 

     Irregular tomestones are awarded when completing the relevant objectives.

     

     Duties associated with this event will feature a moogle icon in the Duty Finder.
     
     Irregular tomestones can also be acquired from GATEs and ocean fishing routes.

     

     * Irregular tomestones will not be awarded when using adventurer squadrons or the Duty Support system.
     * Irregular tomestone rewards are only available to unrestricted parties if the "Level Sync" option is applied.
     * You must score at least 2,000 points while ocean fishing to be awarded irregular tomestones.

   • 

     Irregular tomestones are awarded upon completion of the relevant weekly objectives.
     Each player will be assigned one objective per week from the standard objectives.
     This is a great way to get your hands on even more irregular tomestones, so be sure to try your luck!

     * Weekly objectives are updated every Tuesday at 8:00 (GMT) / 9:00 (BST) / 18:00 (AEST) / 19:00 (AEDT)

   • 

     

     These objectives can only be completed once per week.
     Complete one of the two objectives to be awarded irregular tomestones and, during this event, 1 uolon horn token.
     
     Make sure to try your hand at a whole host of different objectives!

     * Minimog challenges are updated every Tuesday at 8:00 (GMT) / 9:00 (BST) / 18:00 (AEST) / 19:00 (AEDT)

   • 

     These objectives can only be completed once per event period.
     Those who complete these special tasks will be rewarded with a sizable number of tomestones and, during this event, 5 uolon horn tokens.

3. Claim your irregular tomestones!

   

   Rewards for standard objectives are automatically added to your inventory upon completion.
   
   Rewards for weekly objectives, minimog challenges, and ultimog challenges must be claimed from the Mogpendium by pressing the Claim Rewards button.

   * Please note that you will be unable to claim rewards via the Mogpendium after the release of Patch 8.05.

The uolon horn and uolon horn tokens will also be available during the Second Hunt for Astronomy, to be held at a later date. Tokens obtained during the First Hunt may still be redeemed in the Second Hunt.
